It all began back in 1899, or 1900, or some other time, you tell me. Having grown up believing that Wealdstone FC were founded in 1900, I figured that our 100th birthday would be some time in the year 2000. And why should I have believed anything else? After all, every souvenir, every programme, and anything else I bought up until a few years ago bore the legend 'Wealdstone FC - Founded 1900' - so why all of a sudden has it become 1899? I blame the statisticians, the do-gooders etc etc - next thing I'll be told that our nickname isn't even the Stones!

Anyway, I do not want to be accused of being a killjoy, so this page hereby enters into the spirit of the Centenary Season. Jack's page proudly brings you a celebration of the Centenary bash held at the Hilton Hotel in Watford on 20th November 1999.
