The
report reads as follows:
"Accordion
Day 1960
Congratulations - To the three champions
Playing
against the cream of Great Britain's amateur players from all
parts of the country in the Amateur Championship on Accordion
Day, Barbara Sheen-Watson (left) of New Malden, Surrey, successfully
defended her title of All-Britain Amateur Champion, which she
thus holds for the second year running. In the Junior Championship
Section, the winner this year was Keith Nichols (centre), competing
in the section for the first time, as the London and Home Counties
Area Junior Champion. And the Virtuoso Competition, the top
honours again went to Chiz Bishop (right) for the second year
running - and altogether this is the fifth time that Chiz has
secured this award."
