HISTORY & ACCOMMODATION

HONEYSUCKLE COTTAGE was so named in 1936 because the Honeysuckle bush at the front gate was 100 years old in that year. Since then the Cottage has been extensively renovated to modern standards without losing any of its original character. The "4 Star" category awarded by the English Tourist Board confirms our description.

Ground floor: Exposed beamed sitting-room with dining area, colour TV, video and open fireplace. Kitchen has electric cooker, refrigerator, microwave oven and dishwasher. The tiled bathroom has bath with shower and there is a separate laundry with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. The Cottage has full central heating.

First floor: Bedroom 1 has a double bed with a large built-in pine wardrobe and the second bedroom has two single beds, again with built-in wardrobe. Both rooms have exposed beams and original Victorian fireplaces..
