Starting with a pitcher drawn from life. Stretch out a voluptuous belly. Take a Futurist perspective and a Gaudier-Brzeska angle, a remnant of Neolithic figurine and a strand of Marge Simpson’s hair. Texture with random thoughts and beat together thoroughly. Paint with slips and stains, pour over a semi-porcelain glaze and bake at 1160°C for a fine chocolaty finish or slightly lower if you prefer a hint of orange.
A voluptuous belly is a symbol of the universal woman. An earthy mess of pains, strengths, emotions, skills, loves and delights. A far cry from nips and tucks, unfettered by the fashion police and more beautiful for it.
