Our activities

In September 2006, we participated in the annual international  ATV contest and this time, we were located on the B1225 (Lincolnshire Wolds) between Caistor and Horncastle. Our locator was IO93VI.

Below are the maps showing our location and some photos of the portable station.

The ATV group is currently constructing a caravan for contest working and amateur radio demonstrations.

The van will have full facilities for working ATV on all bands from 70cms to 10Ghz.
In order to cater for as many aspects of amateur radio as possible, H.F. 6M, 2M and 70CMS is also provided for, allowing provision for working all modes on these bands including data, SSTV, Morse and RTTY.

In addition to the caravan, we are currently renovating an old Strumech trailer mast.
