RULES AND CONSTITUTION OF THE WEYBRIDGE RIFLE AND PISTOL CLUB

The club shall be affiliated to the N.S.R.A. and any other associations which the committee may consider desirable.
The object of the club is to encourage skill in Rifle and Pistol shooting by providing instruction and practice in the use of Rifle, Pistol and Air Weapons when facilities are available.
Full-bore Rifle and Pistol to any of Her Majesty's subjects so that they will better fitted to serve their Country in the Armed Forces or any other organisation in which their services may be required in the defence of the realm.
The club also promotes the sport by encouraging active participation in competitive shooting.

Ranges.
These shall be open for use at the times agreed by the committee.
All members must behave with due regard for others whilst on the firing point.
Maximum permissible number of shooters on Wallis Range (Outdoor range)
Rifle – 100yds 8 positions, 4 only at 50 and 25yds.
Pistol – 4 at 20yds
No Rifle member may shoot on the Wallis range until an average score of 75 is obtained at 25 yds.

Indoor Range.
Rifle – 25yds 6 positions
Pistol - 10yds 6 positions
Pistol – 20yds 6 positions
Air Weapons 6 positions

Pistol shooting members must achieve cards scoring 70 or over at 10yds before being permitted to shoot at 20yds.

There will be a minimum of four committee meetings per year.

Subscriptions fall due on 1st January each year.
Any member whose subscription is not paid by 28th February in the year is debarred from the privilege of membership.
Members who join after the 31st January will pay pro-rata subscription.

A green fee will be charged for each session of shooting.

The committee may remove from the roll of members any member whose conduct on the range or any part of the premises occupied by the club or else where is unseemly, objectionable or calculated to bring the club into disrepute and such members shall have no claim upon the club for any subscriptions or entrance fee paid.
Such a member may appeal to the secretary concerning the committees decision within a term of 14 days from notification of said decision and upon receipt of such an appeal the committee shall appoint a date for a General Meeting at which the appeal shall be heard.
If a member has any cause of complaint as to the management of the affairs of the club or otherwise he shall submit the same to the secretary in writing.

The secretary or any other officer of the club or any member receiving any money on behalf of the club shall fourth with hand the same to the Treasurer.

The annual general meeting shall be held as soon as possible after the end of the preceding year.
The club year ends on the 31st December.
At least 14 days notice shall be given to the members of such a meeting at which the following business shall be transacted :- Election of offices, Auditor and committee.
Receiving the balance sheet and the reports of the committee.
Revising and amending rules where necessary.
Consider any other business.
