Oakamoor Night Shoot 2
Ever fancied trying one of our night shoots? Well now is your chance. On the 7th February, the Churnet Valley Railway will be staging a night shoot as part of it's steam gala. This will be lit by the EMRPS and the shoot is open to all. Those who purchase a day rover ticket will be entitled to a reduced ticket price for this event. More details will be posted to this site when known.
Oakamoor Night Shoot 2
Following on from the successful night shoot at Oakamoor with diesel traction, we teamed up with 30742 Charters for a re-run with steam locos 4F 44422 and 'Jinty' 47279. We managed to raise £660 towards the cost of the visiting steam locos for the CVR's steam gala. A big thank you to all involved.
Oakamoor Night Shoot
Our latest photo charter was a night shoot under the old sand loader at Oakamoor using 25322 'Tamworth Castle', 37075 and 2672 'Brightside'. For anyone who has visited Oakamoor, it will be noted that it is in the middle of nowhere with no road access, so getting our lighting equipment down there and working was a logistical nightmare, but we overcame all that and managed to stage what was arguably one of our best night shoots ever. The event raised £595 for the Churnet Valley Railway.
Over £40,000
To date, EMRPS photo charters have
raised more than £40,000 towards railway preservation.
