The East Midlands Railway Photographic Society was set up to aid and promote the hobby of railway photography. Our activities include organising photo shoots which not only give the participating photographers unique photo opportunities, but also allow those same photographers to make a worthwhile financial contribution to the railway preservation movement. In addition to photo charters, we also stage monthly meetings between the months of September and May when members can watch slide and video shows and chat to fellow photographers away from the lineside. We also have an email gen group and discussion group to assist members with their hobby. New members are welcome, and our membership is just £4 per year (to cover our minimal administration costs).
