Midhurst played host to The Barbarians today at arguably our most pleasant away venue within the grounds of Cowdray Park.

Player of the Week
Marcus – Steve praised all of the squad for raising their game this week especially in the training match which proved to be a “toe to toe” encounter. Marcus played effectively in defence and with the ball.

As the score line suggests this was a one-sided encounter. The Vikings combined well to dominate this match and run in tries for all positions.
The Brighton squad were then mixed up to play a training game that proved to be thoroughly entertaining and a source of pride for all those playing due to the commitment on display. This match was as intense as any they will have played this season. The work rate from all those involved and the levels of concentration were impressive. The defensive work and quality of the tackling kept the scores down to a try a piece. Attacking runs were limited and no player was allowed any time when in possession of the ball.
