She performs in venues as diverse as London's Royal Albert Hall or Norwich's Theatre Royal and in solo flute recitals with piano and strings.
Born Berkshire, near London, Jane began her studies at the Royal Northern College of Music with Richard Davis and Peter Lloyd and continued with intensive study with the celebrated Jonathan Snowden and Robert Winn. She studied piccolo with Patricia Morris and Stuart McIlwham.

French flute repertoire, to Mozart's beautiful flute/string quartets, to modern,
classical and Baroque concerti.
She graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in 1995 with both an honours degree in music and performance, the 'GMusRNCM' and the coveted performers' diploma, the 'PPRNCM'. She also has the Postgraduate Diploma in Law from City University.
Jane has a particularly keen interest in performing and organising chamber music. Whilst at the RNCM she performed in a variety of groups and ensembles and was a founder member of both the Acosta Quartet and the St. Ann's Ensemble, now in their 2nd decade.

Robert Winn is highly esteemed as a solo flautist and recording artist and was principal flute for twelve years with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Since graduating from the RNCM Jane has developed her career around a busy freelance orchestral life and her many chamber music commitments.
Jane has an extensive CV and has performed throughout Britain and Europe with orchestras such as the Northern Sinfonietta, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, English Chamber Orchestra, London Mozart Players, European Chamber Opera, D'Oyly Carte Opera Company, the National Symphony Orchestra and the National Concert Orchestra.
