Welcome to: THE ADVENTURES OF PERCY PRICKLE
Percy Prickle is a Hedgehog, and he lives in his own cosy little house, number 8,prickle`s patch, which is tucked away under a hollow tree-stump,at the bottom of Mr.Turnip`s garden.

Mr.Turnip didn`t often see Percy,as he only came out at night, but he knew that Percy was very helpful in the garden.Every night,Percy would wake at dusk, yawn, stretch and then set off on his search for food.He followed the same route each night.Squeezing under the hedge, into Mrs.Bodkin`s garden,he would trot around the cabbage patch and then have a dig round in the pile of leaves in the corner.Percy would often stop to chat to his other hedgehog friends when they met,but most of the time they were too busy looking for a tasty meal.Mr.Turnip`s compost bin was a good place to look, and Percy often found fat, wriggling grubs there, for his tea!
It was such a dark, moonless night, but Percy had no trouble finding food.with his excellent eyesight, and keen sense of smell,he was soon finding plenty of juicy grubs to feast upon.
When he had collected enough tasty morsels for his tea,Percy headed back to his cosy little home, just as dawn was approaching, with everything that he`d found in his little wooden wheelbarrow!

Percy took all his lovely food into his kitchen,to make his tea,and hummed happily to himself,as he thought what a feast he would have.
After a scrumptious meal of Slugs on toast,Earthworm pie,and Snail soup, all washed down with Dandelion wine,it was soon time for bed
