CIVIL REGISTRATION INDEX OF BIRTHS, MARRIAGES, DEATHS

 - An ongoing project, the aim of which is to transcribe the Civil Registration Index of births, marriages and deaths for England and Wales for the period 1837 - 1983. Not yet complete, but very well covered from 1837 to 1910. Access is FREE.

 - Complete index of births, marriages and deaths from 1837 to 2003. Fully indexed and searchable from 1984 onwards. The years 1837-1983 only indexed by year and surname range. Access by pay-per-view. Also includes 1861 census.

 
 - Same as above. Access by subscriptions or pay-per-view. Also includes many census indexes and transcripts, and some other useful resources.

 - Civil registration of births, marriages and deaths from 1866 to 2003. The years 1866-1920 & 1984-2003 are fully indexed by Surname, Forenames and District. Access by pay-per-view.
