I still need to sort the transparent polygons into order so they look correct, but this gives you an idea of how it will be anyway. Beta 1_6 - It has nicely textured walls, and ships more like the 2d version (which still need texturing) Beta 1_1 - First person mode. You can see the normals calculation errors on the walls in this shot, those are since fixed. This version literally just loaded the map file and rotated it in space and nothing else2nd Screenshot - Playable version but zoomed out and missing a whole bunch of needed stuff. Pretty ugly by the standard its at now heh 3rd Screenshot - Similar to last screenshot, but camera set up more like the 2d version. 4th Screenshot - Another view to show how it was 3d. Ball colours, and particle system added at this point 5th Screenshot - This version saw the introduction of ball trails (using the particle system) 6th Screenshot - Another view off the ball trails and collision debris/smoke 7th Screenshot - Another shot with a few more people in it, it was harder to see the ships in this old version (crap temporary models ;) 8th Screenshot - Yet another shot from the same game, how many did I take?!?! lol 9th Screenshot - This version saw the introduction of a (ugly but functional) ball reticle, and the map overview. You can also see the old style particle effects more clearly. Newer ones are nicer 10th Screenshot - Another view to display the particles and new features 11th Screenshot - Shot taken in Hockey in different screen res (still windowed) and with names list pulled out. This is the version just before I added all the features to make it a proper playable version (such as a login screen) |
