Welcome

In my website you will find everything on wildlife ponds, from installing the

liner to stocking your pond with fish. There are many reasons for choosing

a wildlife pond over other types of ponds. One of the most important is that

in the last 100 years London has lost 99% of it’s ponds. A wildlife pond is a

haven for water life that rely on the pond as their home this frog is a lesser known frog that lives in England, called the marsh frog. These frogs now in inhabit ponds all over kent.If these ponds are

drained or removed many species of water life will

be in danger. Creating a wildlife pond in your garden

will help to save many different animals from

becoming endangered. A wildlife pond can also provide children and adults

a chance to see the amazing wealth of life that lives in freshwater. The pond

can be very educational for children but it can also be something of great

interest for the them. Lastly think about this, an ornamental pond is like a

lawn and has only a few plants with little wildlife and is sprayed with

fertilizer and weed killer. A wildlife pond is like a meadow there are many

different types of plants and flowers with lots of wildlife (bees, butterflies

grasshoppers). The meadow is the best for helping wildlife as it attracts so

many animals and is also the most Interesting in terms of plant life
