Newark CTC Easy Rides
We are continuing our series of informal easy rides on Saturday afternoons. We hope these will appeal to cycling beginners, family groups or those who just prefer a more leisurely ride. Anyone who has taken part in the Newark Cycle Week Rides and wants to do more of the same should enjoy these rides.

We meet at Sconce Hills Public car park (GR 796532) at 12:30pm. In the Winter we aim to arrive back in Newark before dusk whenever possible.

You do not need to be a CTC member, just turn up with your bike on the day. The slowest rider will set the pace and no-one will be abandoned or left behind. We want to encourage you, not put you off.

The distances will be modest and the destinations will be decided on the day, taking into account the weather and the wishes, needs and abilities of those turning up on the day. Whenever possible we try to find a cafe for refreshments.
- We strongly recommend that all riders carry a spare inner tube, tyre levers and a serviceable pump to cope with those unforeseen pneumatic contingencies. Help will be given, if needed, at such times.
