I am still inspired by the Internet: what you can do with it and where it will go in the future. This is my personal site where you can find out about me, if you look hard enough. The design may not always be consistent because it's a hobby and if I make a change I may not have time to alter all the sections.

Writing inspires me. Our understanding of ourselves, other people and life itself is coloured by narrative perception. That is, we experience, describe and remember things within a literary framework: our thoughts, and how they are mediated by language. Writing is thus a means of refining our perception; practising it is a form of taking responsibility.

My MA research interests were the cultural, sociological and psychological understanding of cyberspace; creative design; the philosophy and psychology of simulation; psychological interaction in cyberspace; cyberspace as 'sacred space'; narrative in cyberspace; the photographic aesthetic as precursor to multimedia, the notion of 'space' as applied to cyberspace; cultural geography applied to cyberspace; psychology and aesthetics; the psychology of the gaze.

I'm also interested in web journals as a means of documenting random thoughts - not the 'I had coffee for breakfast' kind of entry, but the ideas provoked by books, film, television etc.
