The software section of Altervisitor.com is split up into several different sections based upon the platform and purpose of the software:

• Development - Development tools to support both the .NET platform itself, and Agile development-practices are included here.
• Symbian OS - Although ongoing development of these products ceased some years ago, all of the Symbian OS (previously known as EPOC-32) mobile applications are still available for download and purchase.
• ASP & other - This section has tools and programs that don't fit neatly into either of the main categories above, including further development tools and components that don't fit in with the .NET focus of the previous section.
• Abandoned - This section contains projects that have currently been abandoned. That is not to say that some of them won't be resurrected in time, just that they're not been actively developed for now.
