Jacob lived aboard a pair of old working narrowboats from 2 days old until aged 21, he now resides in Sawley, Long Eaton, Notts. UK

Jacob attended Sutton Bonington Primary School (1989-1995), Long Eaton (Community) School (1995-2000), Long Eaton 16+ Centre (2000-2002) and The University of Derby (2002-2006)

Jacob began filmmaking in 1998, working intitially as the designated video cameraman for school productions

Jacob began a degree in Film and Video at The University of Derby in September 2002, completing the qualification in June 2006 with a 2-1 grading and Honours

Since leaving university Jacob has worked with Nottingham-based Band SPIRYTUS, Derby-based Band Hanzo Steel, liquidisco.com, and supplied visual materials to ITN/ITV News, The BBC, The Monster Raving Loony Party, The Fabulous FezHeads, and Black Pig Border Morris
