The Beach BBQ 2008 will be one to remember and showed the true community spirit of SAMRA members.
It was held on Friday 11th July and the weather was, shall we say -
The Beach Hut did a great job cooking and catering for the 80 SAMRA members sat on the beach hoping the rain would hold off. Wine and beer flowed, burgers and chicken consumed, ice cream and pud's lovingly digested, beach games played, conversations and laughter exchanged .... when ... The Heavens Opened!
Always prepared..... Up went the umbrellas and the hilarity continued through the
soggiest, wettest raffle in the History of SAMRA! -
