Welcome to the Stanpit and Mudeford Residents’ Association Website. Through this site we aim to keep our members informed of current events and issues that we are dealing with around the area.  The Association was formed in the early 1980’s as a result of objections to fencing on Stanpit Marsh. Since then it has aimed to champion local causes.

The Association now has over 1000 members. Through our SAMRA magazine “Village News” , various meetings and social events we attempt to promote community spirit and resolve any issues together.

• To protect the environment.

• To preserve the amenities of the area.

• To represent the opinions of the members.

• To co-operate with other associations in matters of common interest.

• To promote community spirit though the hosting of SAMRA functions.
