Peter is a Poet, Actor, Playwright, Ghostwriter, After Dinner Speaker and a Lecturer in various aspects of creative writing.
He is a published writer who has performed his poetry and acting throughout Britain and in America.
His one man show,
Dylan Thomas in America, received five star reviews in Edinburgh in 2004 and 2005. It played to sell-out audiences in many British festivals and has been performed at the American and Canadian Welsh Festival in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Seven of his plays have been produced since 2004.
Toshack or Me! was staged on three successive years (2006, 7 and 8) at the Swansea Grand Theatre, playing to sell-out audiences.
Shearer or Me!,
staged in Blackburn in May 2008, also played to large audiences, 68% of which were new to the theatre.
He has read his own poems and given talks about Poetry on Radio and Television. In November 2007, he won the Academi 2007 John Tripp Award for Spoken Poetry, for the best performance poet in Wales.
In May 2008, his
latest collection of poems, READ ONLY, was published.
It includes the three poems which won him the John Tripp Award .
