Pier Table - Replica of a pair of matching tables made by Thomas Chippendale for Denton Hall - Otley, Leeds c1778. The table below is on long term loan to Harewood House, Leeds, where visitors can view it alongside a video, made by Jack, showing the marquetry being constructed.

Computer aided designs (CAD) plans exist to teach readers how to construct John's table, while step-by-step illustrations and techniques are given for contructing the neo-classical marquetry. This is the ideal project for the discerning student and furniture maker.
