Me ... some sundry details ...

I'll just litter this page with photos etc. so if you don't fancy waiting for photos of me to load you can quickly move on (recommended!) ...

The first is Catriona and dad on Brighton beach at the end of one of the London to Brighton runs. I am wearing my unique cycling legs, specially adapted due to their light weight (scrawny) and comedy knobbly knees ... Note the well worn Nike Air shoes that are now reduced to cycle wear - the bubble in one of the heels burst so they can't be used for running - shame as they were great running shoes. I now have another pair of Pegasus Airs which are as good. They don't have the window in the side so hopefully will last longer.

The glasses were a great buy at £5, but having soft plastic frames had a relatively short life - excellent 'design' kept all the wind out of the eyes .. I expect I'll have to fork out some proper money for another effective pair!! Did manage to get some at the BMF Motorcycle Show at the Peterborough. Another £5 well spent, and metal frames this time. Weyhay!

My old bike and its replacement!! After thousands of miles, and with worn bearings and sprockets which are so old I can't find replacements, I've gone and bought a new one! The old one was originally a racer with drop handlebars and wide range touring gears. I then modified it to be more comfy and fitted indexed gear shifter. The new one is a GIANT FCR3 with an even wider spread of gears, and the same flat bar format.

..and the Leighton Buzzard Weather for the next week! if it looks fine and dry (and there's no salt on the roads!) I will be off to work on my baby!
