Never Kill a Boy on the First Date - Buffy tries to date but job calls when she has to try and stop a vampire plot to lead her to hell

The Pack - Xander and some others are possessed by demonic hyenas

Angel - Buffy is drawn to Angel, but must pull back when she uncovers his terrible secret and awful past

I Robot, You Jane - A demon trapped in a book gets transferred to a computer. Willow falls in love with an internet buddy not knowing its a demon and puts Buffy's life on the line

The Puppet Show - Someone or something is killing the school's talent show contestants and taking their organs. Everyone suspects a spooky ventriloquist dummy named Sid

Nightmares - Everyone's nightmares become a reality and Buffy has to be strong mentally to stop it

Out of Mind, Out of Sight - Cordelia campaigns for May Queen but the supernatural force of an unpopular girl is around and plots against Cordelia and puts Buffy and her friends in danger

Prophecy Girl - Giles discovers a prophecy that says she will die and the end of the world caused by the Master but Buffy is determined to survive and party at the Spring Fling

School Hard - Spike and Drusilla come to Sunnydale and Spike invades a Parent-Teacher evening

Inca Mummy Girl - Buffy and her mum agree to take in a foreign-exchange student but instead get an Inca mummy who sucks the life out of others to preserve herself and she's taken an interest in Xander.

Reptile Boy - Buffy and Cordelia go out to party and end up being sacrificed to a reptilian demon

Halloween - A man from Giles's past sells the town costumes which the people wearing them will actually turn into on

Lie To Me - Buffy's childhood crush comes to town wanting to become immortal by becoming a vampire

The Dark Age - Ethan returns and a demon from Giles's past puts Jenny Calendar in danger

What's My Line 1 - The gang has to suffer career week, Spike sends assassins after Buffy and tries to cure Drusilla and a new slayer comes to town

What's My Line 2 - Buffy teams up with Kendra to save Angel when they find out that his death is the cure for Drusilla

Ted - Joyce starts dating a man who everyone except Buffy loves and he turns out to be more than meets the eye

Bad Eggs - A school assignment that introduces Buffy and the gang to parenting takes a bad turn and two wild west vampires come to town looking for the Slayer. Buffy and Angel continue to meet and Xander and Cordelia keep their relationship a secret

Surprise - Spike and Drusilla gather the parts of the Judge to use as the ultimate weapon against Buffy. Angel's ability to feel human emotions is in danger when an intimate moment with Buffy threatens to destroy his soul

Innocence - After their intimate moment turned Angel back to Angelus, Buffy realises she must destroy him. Giles' relationship with Jenny Calendar takes a new twist and Willow is devastated when she finds out about Cordelia and Xander

Phases - A werewolf comes to Sunnydale and Buffy and the gang try to protect the mostly-human from an evil poacher. Willow is unaware of the danger she is about to face when she starts to feel romantically about Oz

Bewitched, Bewildered and Bothered - Cordelia submits to peer pressure and dumps Xander on Valentines Day so he gets a witch to put a love spell on her but it doesn't work and all the women in Sunnydale fall madly in love with him apart from Cordelia

Passion - Angel's obsession with tormenting Buffy takes a dangerous turn when he gets closer to her heart and home forcing Buffy to have a serious talk with her mum. Jenny begins doing everything in her power to right her mistakes, especially with Giles

Killed By Death - Buffy is admitted to the hospital with a fever where she meets a young child who brings back the nightmares of her past and present. Xander tries to protect Buffy from Angel and Cordelia becomes jealous

I Only Have Eyes For You - Buffy and her friends try to help a tortured spirit haunting Sunnydale High find peace. Giles tries to find out if the spirit is Jenny trying to contact him from beyond

Go Fish - A monster starts preying on the school swim team. Buffy becomes the protector of the star players and Xander goes undercover to discover the truth about the missing teammates

Becoming 1 - Buffy decides the time has come to destroy Angel. Willow uncovers the secret that might restore his soul but Angel would rather set free an evil demon than go back to Buffy

Becoming 2 - Hell prepares to swallow the world and Buffy is left alone to stop it. Giles is in the hands of the enemy and Angel is ready for destruction. Buffy makes some treacherous alliances and is faced with some life-altering decisions

Anne - Buffy in LA, hiding from her friends, family and Slayerhood, but she has to face who she really is when something demonic starts threatening kids on the street

Dead Man's Party - Buffy feels awkward when she returns home but the gang must come together to fight the zombies

Faith, Hope and Trick - There's a new Slayer, a new villain, a new love interest and Angel has returned from hell

Beauty and the Beasts - Buffy discovers Angel is back from hell and Oz-wolf is the main suspect for a brutal murder

Homecoming - Buffy and Cordelia battle for Homecoming Queen but end up fighting something rather different. Xander and Willow's friendship takes a turn

Band Candy - All the adults turn into teenagers after eating some cursed candy

Revelations - Wesley, Faith's new watcher comes to Sunnydale and the gang find out about Buffy hiding Angel's return

Lover's Walk - Spike returns without Drusilla, heartbroken and relationships are torn apart

The Wish - The demon Anyanka grants Cordelia's wish that Buffy had never come to Sunnydale, creating an alternate universe where vampires rule

Amends - Angel is tortured by visions of his ungodly past and they urge him to kill Buffy

Gingerbread - Joyce rallies the whole town into a witch hunt after the murder of two children

Helpless - As her 18th birthday approaches Buffy begins to lose her powers. When Giles tells her it is part of a test she must pass at this age she feels betrayed. As she tries to regain her powers, Giles is fired for not being an impartial watcher

The Zeppo - Cordelia remarks that Xander is useless compared to his friends. Xander tries to prove her wrong by joining a gang and fooling around with Faith

Bad Girls - Mr.Trick brings the swords of the El Eliminati to the Mayor who doesn't want anything to get in the way of the upcoming 'ascension'. Buffy and Faith are determined to get rid of the Eliminati and nothing will stop them

Consequences - New watcher Wesley orders Faith and Buffy to investigate a murder of Finch. With everyone, including the police, questioning them Buffy and Faith find themselves arguing over whether to tell the turth about their involvement

Dopplegangland - Anya, a now mortal, ex-vengeance demon, begs with a demon to get her powers back. When she approaches Willow for help Willow agrees hoping to shred her reputation of 'Old Reliable'

Enemies - A demon offers to sell Buffy and Faith the Books of Ascension but Faith, on behalf of Mayor Wilkins and defying Buffy kills the demon and steals the books. When Angel refuses to help Faith the Mayor hires a shrouded demon to rob Angel of his soul

Earshot - Buffy gets the ability to read minds and has some fun but they find out it will drive her insane if they can't get rid of it

Choices - Buffy's been accepted to Northwestern university but it's obvious to everyone except her and her mother that she cannot leave Sunnydale. When Wesley tells her she can't go, Buffy decides to take the fight to the Mayor instead of waiting for the ascension

The Prom - There's someone training hell-hounds to attack people in formalwear as the prom approaches. Angel breaks up with Buffy but shows up at the prom to share in Buffy's big night

Graduation 1 - The gang continue to find ways to stop the mayor's ascension as it nears to graduation day. Faith shoots Angel with a poison arrow and the only cure for him is draining Faith's blood which would kill her

Graduation 2 - When the Mayor finds out about Faith he sends his henchmen after Buffy who runs to Angel and offers some of her own blood to cure him. Then Buffy, with Faith's knife, joins the rest of the students for graduation, which turns into a ceremony that no-one will forget

Series 4
The Freshman - Willow settles into University easily but Buffy is struggling and her slaying suffers because of it

Living Conditions - Buffy insists her roommate is evil but everyone else

Harsh Light of Day - Spike returns looking for a gem which will make him invincible and Buffy tries to start dating again

Fear, Itself - The gang find themselves in a real house of horrors on Halloween and a Fear Demon feeds off their individual fears

Beer Bad - Buffy starts drinking with some of her classmates but Xander gets concerned when they get in touch with their primordial roots

Wild at Heart - Oz is powerfully drawn to a female werewolf and his relationship with Willow ends when he realises that the she-wolf was right that he didn't have control over the wolf and leaves town

The Initiative - Riley realises he has a crush on Buffy and Spike is imprisoned in an underground demon-research facility

Pangs - Angel secretly arrives in Sunnydale to protect Buffy and Buffy tries to have a perfect Thanksgiving which is ruined when she has to stop a vengeance demon named Hus

Something Blue - Willow performs a spell to have her 'will' be done after Oz left her but it goes wrong and soon Giles is blind, Xander is a demon-magnet and Buffy is engaged....to Spike.

Hush - A group of demons come to Sunnydale and steal all their voices so no-one can scream when they come looking for hearts

Doomed - Buffy and Riley struggle knowing each others' secrets. The gang goes to the High School to stop an

A New Man - When Giles is turned into a demon he has to turn to Spike for help as Buffy hunts him down

The I in Team - The gang worries about Buffy's involvement with the Initiative and Walsh sends Buffy on a dangerous mission in an attempt to kill her

Goodbye Iowa - Buffy discovers the Initiative's secret weapon and Riley becomes disorientated and paranoid after his mentor's death

This Year's Girl (1 of 2) - Faith comes out of her coma and goes after Buffy for revenge with a mysterious gift from the Mayor

Who Are You? (2 of 2) - When Buffy, in Faith's body, is kidnapped by the Watcher's Council, Faith wreaks havoc on Buffy's life

Superstar - Buffy has to put aside the thoughts of Faith and Riley's night together to find out why a nerd has become a superhero

Where The Wild Things Are - When Buffy and Riley rouse a supernatural force, they are held hostage by ghost-children who have returned to get revenge for past abuses

New Moon Rising - Oz comes back to Sunnydale, is captured by the Initiative during a full moon and Willow tells Buffy about her new relationship with Tara

The Yoko Factor (1 of 2) - Riley fights with Angel when he visits Sunnydale. Spike conspires with Adam to bring Buffy down

Primevil (2 of 2) - Adam's plan to create a race of of human-demon hybrids unfolds and he captures Riley. Buffy and the gang merge together to make a super-Buffy and with Riley's help they defeat Adam. The Initiative program is shut down

Restless - The spirit of the first slayer tries to kill Buffy, Giles, Xander and Willow in their dreams by making them face their largest fears

Series 5
Buffy vs. Dracula - Buffy faces the most legendary vampire of all time. Buffy fights to keep from under his thrall, Xander becomes prey to him, putting all of the Scoobies in danger

The Real Me - Buffy begins to resent her sister. That's until Buffy has to rescue her from Harmony and her gang of vampires

The Replacement - A demon tries to destroy Buffy but accidentally splits Xander into 2 bodies. Each one tries to convince the other that they are the real Xander and his friends have to try and out them back together

Out of My Mind - Riley's health worsens after months of being a lab rat for the Initiative. Spike tries to get an ex-Initiative doctor to remove his chip

No Place Like Home - Buffy find out about her sister after finding a strange orb and talking to one of the monks who made Dawn human. Also her mother suddenly becomes ill

Family - Tara's family arrive in Sunnydale and they threaten to tell her friends about her demonic secret. Buffy and Giles try to discover the evil bothering the Summer's residence

Fool For Love - Buffy forces Spike to reveal the details about when he killed the other two slayers so Buffy can find out about the Slayers' final battles

Shadow - Buffy must face an evil force called Glory who wants 'The Key' and Buffy's mother takes more medical tests

Listening to Fear - Buffy and Dawn help their mother prepare for brain surgery. An extraterrestrial demon lands on earth and terrorises Sunnnydale and the Summers' home

Into The Woods - Buffy finds out Riley's darkest secret when she sees him paying to be bitten by a vampire and Spike's feelings for Buffy grow stronger

Triangle - Giles goes to England for a few days and friction between Anya and Willow grows when they are both left in charge of the magic shop. Things only get worse when Willow accidentally conjures up a huge troll

Checkpoint - The Watchers' Council arrive in Sunnydale and make Buffy pass an exhaustive review or they will not give her information on Glory and deport Giles

Blood Ties - Buffy celebrates her 20th birthday. Dawn fins out she is 'The Key', runs away and Buffy must find her before Glory does

Crush - Spike admits his love for Buffy. Her rejection sends him back into the arms of Drusilla who returned to Sunnydale to turn him back to his evil ways

I Was Made To Love You - A heartbroken young woman who was manufactured to be the perfect girlfriend must be stopped by Buffy befores she destroys anything. Buffy faces her own feelings of lost love

The Body - Joyce dies and everyone's lives change forever. They must all come to terms with her death

Forever - Buffy is consoled over her mother's death by Angel and Dawn performs a spell to bring her mother back from the dead

Intervention - Spike builds a Buffy robot who is hopelessly devoted to him and Buffy goes on a quest guided by the First Slayer

Tough Love - Buffy must act as the authority figure for Dawn now that their mother has died and Buffy discovers Glory is closer to discovering The Key when she takes one of Buffy's friends hostage

Spiral - Buffy and her friends go on the run after Glory finds out Dawn is The Key. The gang fights the Knights Of Byzantium. Soon Buffy learns the secret behind Glory and The Key

Weight of the World - Buffy's friends argue over how they can help her. Willow performs a spell to Buffy's mind and Glory starts to feel guilty for what she has to do to Dawn

The Gift - Glory's plan opens the dimensional gate, putting Dawn in danger. Buffy makes the ultimate sacrifice choosing to take her own life to save Dawn's life

Series 6
Bargaining - The gang resolve to bring the Slayer back from the dead and a group of demons who have come to terrorize the town, hinder their plans. Giles contemplates moving to England

After Life - Buffy tries to adjust to life back from the dead when the rest of the gang has to try and deal with the side-effect of Willow's spell

Flooded - A trio of teenage fiends cause trouble while Buffy has to deal with the fact that she is broke

Life Serial - The slayer struggles to re-adjust to life in Sunnydale by attending classes with Willow and Tara, working construction with Xander while the Geek Trio cause trouble for her by putting her through secret tests

All the Way - Xander announces his engagement to Anya. Dawn sneaks out and gets into a dangerous situation

Once More, With Feeling - A mysterious force makes the whole town burst into song revealing their true emotions. A musical episode

Tabula Rasa - Willow does a spell that goes wrong and the Scoobies lose their memories. When they get their memories back Tara leaves Willow because she was doing too much magic

Smashed - Spike discovers that he can hit Buffy without his chip affecting him and Willow de-rats Amy and goes out with her doing magic

Wrecked - Buffy's rendezvous with Spike leaves the Slayer shaken to the core and Willow puts Dawn in danger due to her craving for magic

Gone - A social worker threatens to take guardianship of Dawn and 3 villains turn Buffy invisible

Doublemeat Palace - The Slayer thinks something demonic is going on at the burger joint which she had just taken a job at and Anya gets a visit from an old friend

Dead Things - Buffy investigates why Spike can hit her without his chip affecting him and the 3 geeks frame Buffy for murder

Older and Far Away - Dawn feels ignored on Buffy's birthday and makes a wish accidentally to a vengeance demon which puts the gang in danger

As You Were - Ex-love of her life Riley Finn returns to Sunnydale and needs her help fighting a demon. Anya and Xander continue to plan their wedding and Buffy considers giving Spike the boot

Hells' Bells - A creepy man shows Xander his future. It scares him seeing the misery he will have. Anya tries to convince him it isn't true. Xander bails on the wedding. D'Hoffryn offers Anya her powers back

Normal Again - Buffy is sent somewhere between alternate realities. In one she's a vampire slayer in the other she's in a mental institute for severe delusional schizophrenia. She faces a difficult choice of which reality to accept

Entropy - Anya who has secretly become a vengeance demon again, attempts to get vengeance on Xander but fails. She finds comfort by sleeping with Spike, but the   Trio's cameras reveal the event to the Scoobies. Meanwhile, Willow and Tara have a coffee date.

Series 7

Lessons - Dawn starts her Sophomore year at Sunnydale High, which Xanders construction crew rebuilt over the hellmouth, where Buffy also gets a new job!

Conversations With Dead People - Buffy talks to a vampire, a former classmate. Joyce visits Dawn and someone visits Willow saying they have a message from Tara. Jonathon and Andrew come back from Mexico.

Sleeper - Dawn and Willow recover from a chaotic night while Buffy looks into murders, possibly committed by Spike.

Never Leave me - Scoobies hold spike captive after his murder spree and Andrew tries to murder but also becomes held captive by the Scoobies.

Bring On the Night - Giles arrives with three potential Slayers, the Scoobies research the First to find a way to rescue Spike, and Buffy fights the Ubervamp.

Showtime - Buffy fights the Ubervamp while the potentials watch. Buffy rescues Spike from the First. Giles and Anya try to find out about the First from Beljoxa's Eye.

Potential - Buffy and Spike try to prepare the potentials for fighting the First. Willow discovers another potential in Sunnydale with a spell.

The Killer in Me - Willow kisses Kennedy and, because of a spell done by Amy, turns into Warren. Spike and Buffy return to the Initiative because Spike's chip is misfiring. Giles takes the potentials on the vision quest and the Scoobies suspect him of being the First.

First Date - Buffy goes out on a date with Principal Wood, who turns out to be the son of a Slayer and a vampire-fighter. Xander goes on a date and the woman turns out to be a demon.

Get it Done - A potential commits suicide. Buffy goes through a portal trying to find out about the First.

Storyteller - Andrew makes a documentary of Buffy. There is lots of violence in Sunnydale High. Xander and Anya think about their relationship.

Lies My Parents Told Me - When the Scoobies fail to stop the First's ability to control Spike Wood and Giles try to kill him. Spike relives the events when he became a vampire.
