| Friday 1st free practice |
| We went out on track in sunshine, only for it to start raining heavily after a few laps. I pulled into the pits, along with all the other riders
waited for the rain to ease. Some of the top riders had managed to put in good times before the rain, which meant we were unable to get any where near them after going
back out as the track was wet. I did receive some good TV coverage especially when they followed me setting my fastest lap of the session on my last lap, this placed me 31st.

| Saturday 2nd free practice |
| This was a dry session, I was having problems with the bike for a lot of the session and was struggling to get a good setup.
We used the track to time to try and rectify this as we knew we had to be on the pace for qualifying later in the day.

| Qualifying |
| Saturday afternoon was a dry session. I still wasn’t completely happy with the bike. I pulled into the pits losing valuable time. We eventually found
that the top of the spark plug had sheared off. This left me with little track time to put in a good qualifying time. I qualified 37th on
the grid, which was not where I wanted to be.

| Race Day |
Finally it was race day and I was looking forward to getting out there. I had lots of family and friends supporting me both from the paddock and trackside. Warm up was wet, the bike felt really good and I felt comfortable and ready for the race ahead of me.
I managed to get a good start and stay out of the trouble as a few riders went down. I tucked myself in and set about chasing the pack in front of me. I was able to overtake several riders and move up through the field. It started to rain and I didn’t know if the race would be stopped so I kept my head down and carried on. There were a few more incidents and eventually the race was red flagged whilst I was in 22nd place.
It was decided that it would be a 5 lap race to the line. I had another good start and I was well up and running well in 12th place, sadly on the last lap, I got my gearing wrong through coppice, survived a near high side and clash of fairings with another rider and slipped down to 16th.
I was extremely proud of my result, gutted that I lost out on championship points but proved that I could race with the best. Job’s a dream…………..
We now move onto Brands which I am really looking forward to and feel very confident about.
