MB7USA Information

 (system spec updates coming soon..)

I first started to use Packet Radio in the early days not long after I gained my "B" class license.  This part of the hobby has grown to where it is today and I now run the MB7USA iGate.

My first N.O.V was for 2m 144.800, this was issued in February of 2000.  The second and the most recent N.O.V was for 70cm 433.800, issued in July of 2000.  The 70cm N.O.V took much longer to get as this required full site clearance and to date is the only licensed 70cm iGate.

The MB7USA iGate station currently comprises of one radio and one PC.  The 2m iGate runs through a Kenwood TMG 707E via a GP15 tri band antenna.  The PC is an Intel Pentium 4. 2Ghz connected to a PacComm TINY-2 mk2.

The 70cms iGate is down at the min!! Awaiting Upgrade!!

(picture of station will go here or at the top).

The MB7USA iGate is operational 24/7.  Except for hardware upgrades and unforeseen circumstances..
