Our group is one of several groups in the Berkshire area of the Ramblers' Association.  The Ramblers' Association, a registered charity, is Britain's biggest organisation working for walkers, with members across England, Scotland and Wales.

The group arranges a varied programme of walks in the area, together with a number of trips further afield.  Walks are usually arranged for Thursday and Sunday mornings.  Walks normally vary in length from 4 or 5 miles up to 12 miles.    We also organise some longer walks that are completed in sections over a number of days.  See our programme to get a better idea of the walks we arrange.

Why not come and join us?

Are you already a Ramblers' Association member?  If not you're still welcome to join us for a couple of walks.  After that we would ask that you join the Ramblers' Association - new members are always welcome.  Further information on joining can be found here.  You can join online, by telephone or by post.  Don't forget to ask for the Mid-Berkshire group as your home group!
