I have to design a pop-up book for a school/college project.

Can you send me some diagrams, images, written information on how pop-up books are designed and produced?

I have received so many requests like this from students that I have set up a "Pop-Up Design" page that contains some basic information about the design and production of pop-ups and a few links to other sites that contain additional information that may be of use. If you can't find what you're looking for on this page I am always happy to answer ONE or TWO specific questions, but I don't have time to put together any information more detailed than that which can already be found on the site – so please don't ask!

Can you send me DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS on how to make pop-up mechanisms?

The "Make Your Own Pop-ups" page contains some pop-ups to print out along with instructions on how to make them. I don't have the time to send out mechanisms / instructions on an individual basis.

Are you available to paper-engineer a project for me?

I'm afraid I only paper-engineer projects that I've conceived (and usually written) myself and am not available for freelance work. You might try Keith Mosely or David Hawcock Books who are both based in the UK.

I'm interested in becoming a writer.

Can you give me any advice on HOW TO GET PUBLISHED?

Please don't send me any stories, I don't have the time to read them or to write detailed critiques and it is not within my power to get them published (I have a hard enough time trying to get publishers to take my own stories).
