Who we are

AIDS Africa is a Scottish Registered Charity (no. SC036625) which collects medical supplies, new children’s clothes etc and sends them to our medically qualified colleague in Malawi who distributes them to orphanages, hospitals and care groups who look after those affected by AIDS in both Malawi and Zambia.

Our activities therefore involve seeking out surplus supplies and raising funds to pay the significant postage costs.

The seven Trustees are all members of Newton Mearns Baptist Church from which there is support both in monetary terms and in the provision of accommodation for the coffee mornings and concerts which are regularly held to raise funds for postage.
