The University’s website has the following description of the Award.

The annual Alumni Achievement Award, launched in our 15th anniversary year, aims to recognise and celebrate the successes and contributions to society of our alumni – the former students of GCU as well as its founding institutions.

The award is intended to honour any former student and may be awarded for outstanding achievements in his/her chosen profession, contributions to society, the community, humanitarian issues, the arts, sport or charitable work.  The award may also recognise special contributions to the life and development of the University.

This special new annual award will celebrate and raise awareness of the accomplishments of our graduates, not just within the University, but also among the wider community.

We congratulate them both on the honour they have received.  Well done!
