What we do |
|
We provide medical /surgical equipment for the hospitals and clinics, to enable them to treat their patients. We provide new and good nearly new clothing for babies, children and adults. We provide education materials for the schools and toys for the children. We provide craft materials for an orphanage which teaches the 17 year old youth’s local crafts so when they leave there they can fend for themselves. We send out double paper bags to be used for bag culture of vegetables for the poor who have no land, also send out lidded buckets for storage of water. (In the townships – where poverty is greatest and knowledge is lowest – the water is shut off at night.)
We presently have a special international mailing system with Royal Mail. It is very expensive but reliable. We frequently can answer an emergency between 5 and 7 days. We have the confidence that everything reaches the people it is intended for. Everything is supplied free of charge. We send money out to Robert and Pauline for personal use and to fuel their car so they can collect and deliver the goods where they are most needed. They are presently staying in Chipata close to the Zambian / Malawian Border.
