Mike Rose Cert Ed. MISM.

Mike is the founder of the company and a director, he has considerable experience within the training and development field both at corporate and individual level.

This has included roles in the Army Intelligence Corps, National Police Training and the Nottinghamshire Police.

 

 

 

Mike has provided training in a wide range of disciplines in both the public and private sector, including Investigative Interviewing, Diversity, Criminal Law, Trainer Training and Assessment.

He holds a Certificate in Education, the Adult Education Teachers Certificate as well as an advanced award in equal opportunities training.

He is also a D32/33(NVQ) assessor for training and development as well as holding the C25 coaching award.

Mike has several Home Office qualifications including the Police Trainers Certificate and a Training and Development Officers Certificate.

Mike is a member of the Institute of Supervision and Management.

 

 

 

 

Alan Chatwin

Alan is a director and company secretary. He has many years' experience in the training and development. He has worked as a trainer with the Nottinghamshire Police, National Police Training, The National Health Service Fraud Training School, his local Adult Further Education College and other private agencies delivering a wide range of subject matter including Criminal Law, Investigative Interviewing and Equal Opportunities.

 

 

He was previously a senior trainer at the Nottinghamshire Police Driver Training Unit where he trained police drivers in a wide range of vehicles and roles. Additionally, he was responsible for the design, delivery, and evaluation of the Traffic Patrol Officers Law and Procedure course. He has a great interest in road safety issues and has written a course which addresses the attitude to driving by young motorists, a factor that he believes is one reason why young drivers become involved road accidents so early in their driving careers. This vital area of driver education is rarely addressed.

Alan holds a Police Trainers Certificate, a City and Guilds Adult Education Teaching Certificate and a Training Development qualification from Loughborough University.

This month we feature Neil Morton

Neil began his career with the Metropolitan Police in 1987. After a two-year probationary period he was successful in being selected for the Divisional Crime Squad. He later gained the post of Detective Constable within the Divisional C.I.D. This role, working in a busy south London district, brought Neil into contact with all aspects of major crime, in particular drugs related, and is where he developed his skills as an investigating officer. In 1993 he transferred to Durham Constabulary, returning to uniform duties before gaining a place as a Detective Constable on the force Surveillance Unit. This role involved all aspects of covert surveillance nationwide and allowed Neil to gain various specialist skills including high speed advanced police driving. During this time Neil was also selected as a Test Purchase Officer for the force and took part in various covert operations. In 1998 Neil returned to uniform duties to pursue promotion and was successful in passing both parts of the Sergeants Osprey examination. He then commenced the role of acting Sergeant within a division and also took on the role of a Probationer Tutor. As a tutor Neil was successful in gaining the C25 City and Guilds coaching award. During this time Neil maintained his interest in controlled drugs and gained a level 3 N.V.Q. in Drugs Awareness, he still gives regular presentations to members of the medical and pharmaceutical industry on the subject. He also began a Teaching course in his own time and achieved both the City and Guilds Teacher Training Certificate and also the D32/33 assessors' qualification.In 1999 Neil moved to National Police Training as an instructor and in his own time achieved his Certificate in Education. He has various Home Office qualifications including Skills Development Assessing, Role Acting and Counselling.

Neil retired from the Police service on 23rd December 2001 after 15 years exemplary service including two commendations for bravery.
