"In The Beginning Was The Forest....."

"In the beginning was the forest. The forest covered all the land and the land was alive with the beings of the forest. Everything that lived was part of the forest and each being knew that the forest was not complete without every one of them."

So begins a creation story which goes on to tell of humanity's separation from nature and the means for their eventual reunion. The story has been partially choreographed and the group completes it during the day. It includes Sacred Dance, Free Dance, Drama, Chanting, Drumming and Body Painting.
Participants are invited to bring any instruments they have, especially percussion, and any face paint or body paints they may have.
