Setup your mail account
Configure your mail account

Setup your mail account

Start by clicking Tools then Accounts.   In the next screen, click onto the Mail heading, click Add then Mail.   The next screen will ask you your name - put anything you want and click Next.

The next screen will ask you for your email address.   This is the mail account you wish to set up in Outlook Express.   Then click Next.

You will now be prompted to enter your POP3 and SMTP server names.   If you are in doubt then contact you ISP.   I have also included a list of SMTP servers for various ISP's here.

In the next screen, you will need to enter your username and password provided by your ISP.   The only box that should be checked is "Remember password" - the click Next.

You may or may not be prompted on how you wish to connect to the Internet.   Either way, click next to continue and in the next screen press Finish.
