Linux FTP

gFTP

Select the Edit Bookmarks command from the Bookmarks menu.   In the next screen, click File > New Item.

A dialog window will pop up, prompting you for a name for the new bookmark.   For the purposes of testing, let's call this Test FTP.   Then click Add to store the new bookmark.

Now select the Test FTP bookmark in the list and click File > Properties to open the bookmark properties screen.   Enter the information as follows:

  1. Hostname: - FTP Server
  2. Port: - 21
  3. Directory - Leave blank
  4. Username - Registered Username
  5. Password - Registered Password

Click Apply to save the information and to start transferring files.
