Gmail

Offering over 2000MB of mail storage, Gmail is a force to be reckoned with but it does have it's drawbacks.

One major problem is that it does not provide a virus scan for anything that hits it's servers.

Could you imagine 2GB of nasty attachments?   It's not a pretty picture.

Gmail uses the POP3 protocol so it's fairly easy to setup your mail client to receive your Gmail.

The added bonus is that if you have a mail scanner such as that in AVG, this can be used as the protection Gmail doesn't provide.
