Committee nominations.
The AGM is only a month away so we must think about nominations for next year’s committee. All those members on the current committee have said that they are prepared to continue in the same capacity next year, except that Ray will be President and Len Past President. However we will need the post of Vice President filling. Please think seriously about whether you would be prepared to stand as Vice President as it is an important role for the continuity of the committee. It does not involve much extra work; 6 committee meetings each year (tea and biscuits provided) and very occasionally standing in for the President. So why not give it a go?
Congratulations!
Well done to the winners in the Annual Competition in what was a very strong entry. Winner of the Print Panel was Jean Holman with “Dressed to Impress” and the wnner of the DPI Panel was David Bell with “The Printed Word”. I suppose I ought to also congratulate Colin for getting both Best Colour Print and Best Monochrome Print but I don’t want his head getting any bigger!
