* Summers and Titterton describe this coat as "Azure a stag trippant argent" and attribute it to Parry. However, I suspect that this identification is incorrect, and that these arms, which should be "Vert (i.e. green not blue) a stag trippant argent" actually relate to Hughes of Cefn Llanfair, who claimed descent from Llywarch Howlbwrch. ** In the description for the hatchment for Sir Love Parry Jones Parry, Summers and Titterton identify the arms "Gules a lion rampant or a bordure argent" as those of Everard. They also provide a different blazoning for the same arms as here attributed to "Wylde and ?", which they then attribute to Hughes of Cefn Llanfair.
