PARRYs on Form 30a

This is an index of all PARRYs for whom there is an Immigration Form 30a included on Film No.T-15151 from the Canadian National Archives

During the period 1919-1924, these individual sheets had to be completed for each immigrant into Canada, rather than people being listed all together on one large passenger manifest. Details of the Form 30a can be found on the Canadian National Archives site. A facsimile of the sheets can also be seen on the Ships List, [although there were slight variations in the details on some of the sheets].

I obtained the film whilst investigating my grandfather's emigration to Canada. Believing that the information contained on it, which is not currently available anywhere else, might be of use to others, I have attempted to transcribe the sheets. Unfortunately, the condition of some of them meant that it was not always possible to be certain of what was written. However, by transcribing them all and matching up the people who were clearly families travelling together, hopefully I will have managed to obtain sufficient information so that anyone researching a particular family will be able to identify them.
