imagine Community Project
imagine is a community project set up by Holy Trinity Church, passionate about working with local people. A taste of what we offer:
- working with children in a local school on reading support and other activities
- supporting the more isolated elderly and less able through ‘buddy schemes’, to befriend and help them where needed
- a summer gardening scheme, involving local young people
- looking at debt and savings issues, and working with the Lambeth Savings and Credit Union, whose office will soon open on Brixton Hill
- working with Lambeth Domestic Violence Forum, particularly with the Mozaic Project at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals. This project deals with mums and babies who have experienced abuse
