Kaye MichieKaye Michie has been collecting 19th Century and 20th Century watercolours and drawings for over twenty years and dealing in these for over twelve. She is a member of the British Antique Dealers Association (BADA) and the London and Provincial Antique Dealers Association (LAPAD). She is also on the advisory committee of the very well regarded Water Colour Fair held annually at the Park Lane Hotel London. She almost always has work by artists such as Helen Allingham, Charles Edward Wilson and Myles Birket Foster in stock and she can help customers find work by most artists. Over the past eleven years her interests have spread to include Modern British and drawings from 1880-1960 with a particular love for the works of Dame Laura Knight and Augustus John. She has developed a love for original children's book illustrations including works by Mable Lucie Atwell, Donald McGill and Ernest Howard Shepard, figurative works and early cartoons. Kaye will also advise on framing and restoration. She will undertake to advise on collections of art for every taste. Kaye deals from her Victorian home in southwest London and holds two exhibitions at home each year. She also holds exhibits at many major London fairs such as Olympia and Lapada and travels north to Harrogate once a year where she has an increasing and loyal customer base.
