My name is Andrea Shaw (Mrs) better known as Andy. I was born in Skipton Yorkshire in 1943. All my life I have loved animals especially dogs. As a child I didn't have any dogs, (but that is another story). I could always be seen walking other peoples dogs 3 or 4 at a time and I was quite happy to go off for long walks with them. When I got married the very first thing we did was get a dog, and there my story really starts. I used to show cocker spaniels and as we had 3 children I could not afford to show them very much so I trained them for obedience, and they won many a competition. Then I saw a Clumber Spaniel and completely fell in love!! I will take you from the past into the future.

Sh Ch Leybel Love in The Mist (Suede) was my very first Clumber who I had from the Late Mabel Hall, in 1986. She was to be the founder of my kennel of Clumbers, she produced 3 litters. she was also trained to the gun and was a very keen worker both in show competition and out in the shooting field. She was a great character and always Woo wooed as she went around the ring.

She produced in her 1st litter a full Champion Greencourt Mist of the Moor, (Chelsea) who was also a great character. She took a long time to mature for the show ring, but she worked like a dream, and I finally made her up at 6 years old, she took the Bitch CC at Crufts after winning both the Open class and Veteran. she went on to win many more CCs. I had her out on a duck shoot one evening, and there were many ducks dropped, I sent her for a duck on land, not her, she had remembered the 1st one that had dropped on the other side of the river, and in the dark she went across and got it, and then went out to pick the others. She was never mated although we tried many times.

 In Suede's 2nd litter she produced a lovely dog Greencourt My Mister, he was only shown until    he was 10 months owing to being attacked at a show by a Golden Retriever who jumped on his bench and just attacked him, he got Reserve CC that day, but was never shown again.

Wudi was my last home bred dog but due to illness I had to re-home him. but now I am well on the way to recovering , and  have a new puppy (Storm)to show , and am having a great time with lots of success.
