MesoMap Live
"MesoMapLive is a Flash(TM) movie which uses data available from Metars (airports) or Weather Display weather stations. The data is displayed in a web browser or on the PC desktop. The data is updated every 15 minutes from Weather Display stations and on a less frequent basis from Metars which vary depending upon the airport."
To use the map just place your cursor over a station marker and you will be given the weather details from that station. Some stations have associated websites and to view the respective site click on the station icon and your web browser will be directed there, In the case of buoys and airport metars you will be taken to the NOAA site reference for the station.
To change the viewing area use the pull down menu above the magnifying glass icons and select the area you wish to view. The other icons display their functions by 'hovering' the cursor above them.
The 'movie' will cycle through Wind direction, Barometric pressure, Temperature and Current Conditions if left to run uninterrupted.
