The U45's have won the Renfrewshire title defeating Thornliebank 14 shots to 13 shots. It was a very tight game with but with two ends to go the twice U45's winning Thornliebank men took the lead by 13shts to 12shts. The Victoria men took a one to make it all square going into the last end. Tony McAulay played a fantastic first bowl right on the jack and this bowl stayed there the whole end to give the Victoria a much deserved win. Well done boys.

The weather was terrible for the afternoon games with all the matches being postponed for a hour to see if the rain went off, but it didn't. They decided to have the meal and wait until after this to see if the waterlogged rinks had dried out.

I never stayed as it was a long day as we were on in the morning but the Lady Alice sponsored fours won in the morning and Stephen McLellan won the Junior Singles. Well done again to these guys. Hopefully the other results favored doon the water.
