Having been owned by Dino for four months, we learned that “Jessica”, had been returned, through no fault of her own.
Now, any responsible breeder will tell you that two puppies from the same litter are far from a good idea !!! Which is what Jules did, repeatedly !!! However, as we are not novice owners, and had already gone some way down the road with Dino’s training, she very kindly allowed Jessica to come and join her brother. Thank You Jules.
(This is something we would never recommend for a novice owner. One Dalmatian can be a handful to train !! Two the same age can be a recipe for disaster !! for both you, and, more importantly, the puppies)
It has not been easy to train both of them, as, like 2 children they would much rather play with each other than pay attention. However we have got there & she has now settled in very well & passed the KC Good Citizen Bronze award on 14/06/08. She may even have a go at ‘heel work to music’ in the future! Watch this space
Although only lightly shown in 2007, we are pleased with her results & very proud to own her. Like her brother, she also possesses the same out going and friendly temperament essential in the Dalmatian, making her just as much of a joy to own as her brother :-)
