This is Us!

   Hi, I'm Sue - the mother of the family, which consists of one husband, two daughters and six cats. I am a very easy going person even though I have lots to put up with - i.e. a part time job, along with running the house and taking care of the above entourage! When I'm not at home I'm either at work, cat shows or supporting Wigan Warriors!.

Hello, I'm Ian, the MAN of the family and master of all I survey - when Sue lets me!! I work as the Senior Laboratory Technician at Marsden Heights Community College in Nelson Lancashire. I have to work to support the family and pay for cat litter, shows and cat food etc.. Any spare money that Sue lets me have I use to put petrol in the car - to get to cat shows, JJB Stadium and work!

We are enthusiastic committee members of the North West Cat Club. Sue is the Show Support Secretary which means that she can offer rosettes to our members whose cats win titles at other supported shows.  Ian is the Chairman, Membership Secretary and also Hall Manager - anybody interested in joining us can e-mail us for details or click here to print out an application form.
Our show is of Championship status and held under GCCF rules every September, and is currently sited at the Altrincham Leisure Centre near Manchester. We draw entrants from all over the UK and average approximately 600 cats of all breeds plus household pets. Our 2008 Show is to be held on 27th September - any visitors would be made very welcome. We have a full range of stalls selling cat related products.
