Vital
Statistics principally concerns an individuals major life events:
birth, baptism, marriage, death, burial.
Census
returns might be considered a vital statistic but I have given a
separate section for these.
In
England and Wales since 1837, and Scotland from 1858, it has been
a requirement to register all births marriages and deaths with the
local Registrar of Births, Marriages and Deaths.
Religious
services are held for baptism, marriage and burial and these
records are kept by the local church etc.
Different
systems operate in different countries. Any
recording of such life events will be listed here.
This
will all so include an individuals Last Will and Testament. |
