One Day Emergency First Aid for Small Boat Users

This course is designed specifically for users of small boats (sailing dinghies, fishing boats, canoes, RIBs, small yachts etc). First Aid Matters senior trainer is an experienced and enthusiastic dinghy sailor as well as an RYA dinghy sailing instructor. He feels that the RYAs own first aid course has too heavy an emphasis on "big boats" and so came up with this course for the small boat enthusiast. The course is ideal for RYA dinghy and power boat instructors, coaches etc and meets all the requirements for first aid as laid down by the RYA. The course would also be of interest to anyone involved in boating who would like an understanding of first aid techniques they may need whilst on the water. As an added bonus the course is recognised by the HSE as an "Emergency First Aid for the Appointed Person" course so can be used at work as well as play!
