This is my fourth wad project, this time for Ultimate DooM.
But, the major difference with this episode is that it will be made specially for ZDoom!
Having seen the ZDoom features for the first time recently, I decided there was loads that I could do with it, and it's no surprise that I have tons of cool ideas/concepts, many of which I could do in doom.exe, but they're all easier with ZDoom.
The episode will run with ZDoom (2.0 beta 39 and up), and covers E4M1-9 in Ultimate DooM.
9 innovative levels.
An industrial/hi-tech theme throughout, influenced by Quake 2, Half-Life, Sin and James Bond.
Lots of innovative ideas and textures. (including the alphabet!)
New sprites (including some puzzle items!)
New sounds (including Quake 2/Unreal/Sin-style ambient sounds)
New automap names and victory text.
Two enhanced creatures.
Lots of cool features, including Quake 2-style missions, coloured lighting, fog, ACS scripting, underwater zones and more!
A sky from Quake 2 (not available in q2skys*.zip).
