How not to do it.More popularly known as exorcism but that's not a term I have any use for, spirit clearance really doesn't need to involve the theatrics of religious rites harking back to the middle ages and having a questionable background of ill conceived demonology. Nor does it require any religious or New Age paraphernalia to carry it out.
Consider the effect of waving a crucifix in the face of for example a Hindu, and you'll begin to understand why such symbols might be ineffective with any spirit not believing in their use.
It's not a game and those jumping in with little idea of the potential difficulties involved with the stronger negative spirits, should be aware of the possibility they may get their fingers burned, similarly those mediums prone to over dramatising what can be quite ordinary events should perhaps steer clear of clearance also.
The possibility also exists that depending on your particular path you may experience perhaps more than you would wish in the way of spirit aggravation, indeed you may have already done so as eventually you will be seen as a threat to those determined to continue their behaviour, maintain whatever gang they have been able to put together, or protect 'their' territory.
Although unpleasant it may not be an altogether bad thing, as you will have the advantage of directly relating to what others with problems are experiencing and are therefore in a better position to help them.
Not only that but it has the benefit of toughening you up and honing your natural protection, to the point where the lower grade negative spirits have little or no effect on you, a rather worthy goal in this line of work.
Mediums engaging in this work should ideally have a developed sense of discernment when dealing with spirit as it's essential to be able to correctly identify their nature, disposition and agenda.
Compassion is also an essential quality together with a mature outlook, sensitivity to deception and a robust constitution, as those that are easily 'spooked' really won't be too much of an asset.
We all of us have natural protection and that of our guides to keep us relatively free from the attentions of negative spirits, however occasionally their activities mean we have to take a more active interest than their nature would ordinarily warrant.
Therefore we either attend to those spirits who come to our attention, or act upon a request for help from others.
Clearance in my mind means removing or rescuing them to wherever is appropriate to their nature and vibration, so somewhere along the line you'll have to make a judgment as to the manner in which you deal with them.
Some will be open to honest persuasion and the opportunity to move on to somewhere better, while with some others it's a waste of breath engaging them in any dialogue whatsoever as everything will be rejected and efforts made to waste our time or disrupt proceedings.This is why a flexible and open approach is needed to this work as you're unlikely to be dealing with spirit which are all on the same level, some may have fallen in with a bad crowd and been led astray, so for them a genuine helping hand is extended and we may engage in whatever help or persuasion is needed.
Others will just laugh in your face and reject all help offered, these are then given no choice and are removed to where they can no longer cause disruption and harm.
I don't believe it's enough to merely remove them from the location they are causing trouble in, as in ejecting them from a house, as apart from a loss of face from being bested by a medium they are still at liberty to set up elsewhere and continue in much the same vein.
In my eyes it's better they are removed from their earthbound condition completely and taken to wherever they would have gone to had they experienced a normal passing and transition.Just as in life, spirit have varying abilities and personalities, some will be a low grade nuisance of little ability, while others will be quite capable of initiating an effective psychic attack, having spent time discovering just which buttons to push to not only get a medium off balance and ineffective, but to cause physical disturbances such as moving objects and the like too.
Attacks usually involve disrupting a person's energies or projecting sensations and emotions, frequently a combination of each is tried. These can be perceived in a variety of ways, from an energy drain, to headaches, nausea, anxiety, panic, dullness of perception and attempts to trance the medium, it is also possible though rare that they can effect us physically, though that level of attack is normally headed off by our guides.This is why we should be cautious and not get overconfident to the point we may bite off more than we can chew, clearance as in rescue work should be done in a controlled manner and although many situations are quite straightforward, some can be rather 'interesting,' so it wouldn't suit those of a nervous disposition.
Certainly, a mature outlook is needed together with a calm, rational approach as many reports of problems have a quite mundane explanation, rather than that of rampant, negative spirit activity.
